"While it’s nice not to have to look at a blue screen full of text, it’s a shame Microsoft still hasn’t found a way to refine the error reporting process further and present users with a very clear description of why Windows 8 fell down." What? Has this idiot ever tried analysing a crash dump? A clear description? So hang on, a corrupted system is supposed to instantaneously crash, dump memory to a file, AND load the dump file into the windbg heuritic analyser AND display that output to the user AND the user is supposed to understand it, ALL while the memory is corrupt?     And thats even IF the heuristic analyser could get it right, which it can about once every 150 crashes. Actually what windows does is crash, dump memory to a file (depending on system settings) and then someone with the ability to analyse the dump has to do the job of telling the user why his machine is hosed. And for that, I get paid large amounts of money, because it is bloody difficult. :)

Very similar to the sad face you get when WP7 can't send one of your texts.
Forgive your enemies - it messes with their heads

Course, I'd give them an extra 5 bucks if they can make it go "I'm sorry, I can't do that... Dave..."
