Porcupine Tree

Anybody heard of these guys[^], they're awesome. Adding a product page to my website and the code is DoxyGen ready so I went to there site and in the credits was a reference to Porcupine Tree for listening to there music while coding, so naturally wanted to find out what the fuss was about and they are awesome. (I know I said that before) but some of there stuff is Pink Floydish sounding so of course I loved it right away.

A bit violent video, but the music is good.

Follow me down to the valley below... (Lazarus) ;) Yeah, they're pretty good. I also like Blackfield which is also led by Steve Wilson, the main vocalist of Porcupine Tree.
Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike... me...

Yep, one of Beth's favourites. A while back we actually had tickets to see them (Beth, her Dad and I). We got as far as London Bridge before realising the gig was two days earlier, so we ended up at a Tchaikovsky/Stravinsky concert at the RFH.

Yep, but thankfully not my mistake! Regardless, the gig at RFH made up for it. :) The most recent gig I've booked for was Judas Priest on the Epitaph tour at Bournemouth BIC; thankfully the date was right this time!

Sounds like a win-win to me! :)
It was - the Tchaikovsky concert in particular was breathtaking. In addition some of the performers had real character, and it was great fun watching them.

Does a Stravinsky concert count as a "gig"?!

It does when you take a beer in to it. :)

They became one of my favorite bands. My son was selling magazines and cd's as a fundraiser for school. I already have every cd I thought I would want. The name Porcupine Tree sounded funny so I bought it for laughs, now I have almost every one of their cd's. Scott

I'm on-line therefore I am. JimmyRopesYeah I had to switch to another tab and not watch the video on that one. I rarely like the videos for the music I listen to.

That's definitely opposite ends of the spectrum. I listen to a little classical occasionally, helps cleanse the soul.
