I thought you wanted to go to the USA (according to your recent Back-Room-posts)?

First, you must learn the basics of the Canadian culture to gain entry into the country, which means you must be able to answer questions such as: how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

First you'll have to be fluent in the native tongue. Here, let me get you started:

Into Canada? I heard there's a secret crossing at the New York/Canadian border, and even if you take a large-caliber rifle with you, nobody will notice. The way to find the crossing is to drive toward the border guard, and about 50 feet away, screech to a halt, grab your rifle, and haul ass across the traffic lanes, jump the median divider, run across the oncoming traffic lanes, and make a run for the tree line on the other side. To make sure nobody sees you, blow a police whistle as you're running.

John, I think you are describing returning Canadians from a Buffalo shopping trip. Everything's cheaper in the US. :)

Forget it! Even within Canada employers wouldn’t hire you as you - don’t have Canadian experience!!! Just do independent immigration... slow but for sure.

Standard. Everybody knows a woodchucknorris has no limits.

Find a Canadian job site or agency and try there, or buy some Canadian newspapers and see if they have adverts. What country are you in at the moment, as that may have a bearing on whether you would be allowed to work there?

That's true but Canada is a good alternative.

Given the political difficulties between your country and the rest of the world I suspect you may have a problem there. Your best starting point would be to try the embassy of the country you are interested in (most embassies have web pages) as they can probably advise on how easy this would be.
