Bunch of sock cuckers

I may have mentioned, a number of times, that we are currently having a system installed, and configured, and customised, by an external company, and we (I) have to interface a number of new and existing systems to it. One integration point was falling over some times, keep trying and it would sometimes work for the same messages. Pass the problem back to them. Some months later, being today, we have received their fix. Now on to some background about a colleague of mine, he only has one leg (well he has at least two, but only one that he was born with) following a motor cycle accident some years ago. Back to the story. When I read of their fix today I could do nowt but exclaim "That's not a fucking fix. That's like saying they fixed Phil's leg. They didn't. They gave him an entirely different one to work with instead". Further ranting would probably not be a good idea, but it involves several weeks extra work for me. We could have written this new system several times over the amount of time it has taken so far, but oh no, some-one very high up (who has since retired) decided we had to have an 'off the shelf' system. Useless mother wanking, spunk bastarding, toss fuckers.
Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

One of the phrases I most dread hearing - usually coming from someone who has no real experience of IT! A previous 'head of IT department' used to tell me that systems nowadays no longer need programming, everything is just a case of setting options and check boxes- needless to say he soon found himself out of a job...
Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential.(Winston Churchill)
