once again. What're everyone's plans? Here in Canada, it is another long weekend with Monday being Thanksgiving day. I'll be spending another great weekend with family at the cottage where we'll be having our annual Thanksgiving Beach Bonfire on Saturday, another fabulous Thanskgiving BACON Covered Turkey dinner on Sunday and hopefully everyone will be able to wake up on Monday and safely return home. Wishing everyone a great weekend. :)

I plan to spend about 14 straight hours playing board games tomorrow (Well, overlapping a bit with Sunday)... I am such a geek.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

I'm outa here in the next half hour or so and then a 'normal' weekend. Fly over to Budapest tonight, maybe a beer or six en-route. Might go down to Fured tomorrow to see the builder, otherwise relaxification and kissing with Mrs Wife. Then back to London Monday and the fun of work.

Taking the little one to the zoo. It is going to be sunny and in the 80's here in Wisconsin. Nice weekend for some fires and cookouts and of course a ton of brews. Might as well enjoy it before it becomes the frozen tundra again. Have a great weekend all.

Hey, nothing wrong with marathon board games. We do it all the time at the cottage on rainy days. We once did an 8 hour stretch of Monopoly with 9 of us playing. Had to use the play money from three games to have enough! :)

Nah, not Monopoly... I'm in a strategy board gaming group... About 20-30 of us show up every weekend, and we play all sorts of games... It's a blast, but I sometimes feel a little too geeky when I'm taking the subway home at 3am :)

My neighbour at the cottage shot a Canada Goose last Sunday to cook this weekend. He marinates the goose in Grand Marnier for about three days before cooking. Seems like a waste of alcohol to me. :) Good luck on that Monday morning ride. I'll still be .

What with the youngest randomly moving pieces, the wife managing to aquire properties magically and the eldest she was hyper. Really also didn't like the fast play version.........

We played Monopoly when I was a kid until the first time I beat my dad, after which we were never allowed to play it again. Before I was married, myself and a few friends used to play it on Christmas Day each year with much drinking. Don't think we ever finished a game.

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

Well actually with 9, Monopoly becomes very much a strategy game. Think partnerships that only last for one or two rolls of the dice. :)

There's a lot of geese around here at the moment and there's no way I'd be taking one of them out. When there's about 4,000 of them in the air and they are all cranky about the weather, the travel, the goslings asking "are we there yet" and us in general, picking a fight with one doesn't seem a great idea. I learned the hard way that when it's bike vs goose, goose wins.

Season opener for the Hawks tonight, home opener tomorrow. I'm still very sick, but have to attend my acting workshop tomorrow and a class Sunday night. I think I may have to attend some engagement celebration dinners, too.

Here for a month: spending time with my son and doing a road trip. Has been excellent.

Well actually with 9, Monopoly becomes very much a strategy game. Think partnerships that only last for one or two rolls of the dice. :)

Well, maybe... But not compared to something like Catan, Dominion, Puerto Rico, etc... Though I've been getting some of them hooked on The Resistance, which is kind of like werewolf/mafia :)

I do but it took a while to convince the wife that we wouldn't be attacked by a slithering mass of rattle snakes, get sting by scorpions or get carried away by the river. :-)

I'm going to be doing a Tough Mudder[^] with my wife to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Survival is my goal. Absolutely no symbolism there, heh.
