Finally took a look at my reputation out of curiosity. Surprised to find points added for editing. In some cases I've done multiple edits due to struggles with the CP code-formatter which has a problem, at random times in my experience, with the equals-right-arrow character group => in code blocks, as used in Linq. Today was one of those times: I edited my reply to a C# question perhaps more than eight times trying to get the full code block not being truncated right after =>. I'm sure I don't 'deserve' eight big honking rep points for that :) best, Bill

Let's say you post an article and then later down the track you update it. You should get points for that. Also, if you update someone else's post you get points for that - why should you not get points for fixing up your own mistakes?

cheers, Chris Maunder The Code Project | Co-founder Microsoft C++ MVP
