I'm having problems allowing Connectify to connect to the internet with ZA. I've added all of connectify's executable files to the safe zone, well with of the exception of help and trouble shooter ones. Google isn't returning any useful results, Connectify's website doesn't have anything about the issue, just says that it's possible. I was hoping someone might have ran into this problem before or knows how to get round it, if so please help me. I know it's ZA because, with it disabled, I can connect to the internet. I've also added the IP of my phone to the safelist. Thanks Edit: It works now. But if anyone wants to do this, I really have no idea what I did. I tried many things but it started to work when I was changing the levels of the firewall---I thought I placed the levels at the same value they were before, but I might not have done.

Get a port scanner and run it to determine which ports and protocols Connectify is attempting to use, then unblock those ports in Zone Alarm. It may not be enough to simply add all those file names to ZA's Happy Zone; you may have to construct a path across the firewall manually. I know I've had to do that using other firewalls, and a way can usually be found. Good luck!

Thanks for your response. I managed to get it to work though not quite sure how. I know I should have edited OP to say solved, but I forgot  .
