I wonder what kind of lights they're using that can produce so many colors. The only way that I can think of producing that effect is to string multiple LED light strings of different colors along each path, then select them with a MIDI sequencer. The cost of that would be amazingly huge!

I bet the electricity company liked the whole jig the most. They are going to raise a nice fat bill for this fellow at the start of the next payment cycle.
Maybe not; he probably used LEDs, Incandescent bulbs don't have the response times necessary for some of the transitions in that sequence.

He states in his description he's using RGB LED's this year, and 1,144 channels of control.
