Ok. I'm annoyed. 1. Exams... I don't mind doing exams, I have no problem doing exams... I just hate when lecturers tell you that something is not examinable and then they base 20% of the paper on it... sure, you understand it and you know a good bit of it because you've read over it but you haven't gone into too much detail in it  2. Work placement [:~]. I really want to go for the placement in Alaska.. 6 months, free accommodation, no bills, free car/insurance/fuel and you get to be in Alaska [:-D].... but we were told that it wasn't going to be sorted until after Christmas [:-(] so I opted to take a position in TSSG [www.tssg.org[^]] working on some very very cool projects and getting to play with .NET, Web Services, XML, MC++, MFC, C#, JSP, 3G, SIP, Parlay and some other very very cool technologies.... money is crap, but experience is good... I took the position. Next day --> Oh, you have an interview for Alaska next week... Next day --> Oh, you have an interview for Microsoft... typical Regards, Brian Dela :-)

It's your life Brian - the experience (whichever of the two you choose) will mean far more in your life than one temp worker (no insult to you) will make to TSSG. Go for the interviews! And good luck :rose:

I'd have thought you're fully in your rights to tell them that you've changed your mind and that you've got a better offer, so just go on the alaska and microsoft interviews, and see what's best once they've all made their offers -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

I was under the impression I was going to work at CERN over in Switzerland next summer, but it's only for folk with 3+ years of degree experience. Bah.
