Last week I put some new music on my memory stick, stuck it in my car, and then... "USB device error". I inserted it again a couple of times, same error. Ok, maybe the file system got screwed up somehow, I reformatted the thing, copied 1 mp3 file for testing. But no, still same error. I get back in the house, kinda gave up so didn't put the memory stick back in the computer. Hey wtf, the wireless mouse isn't working anymore. I check the battery, battery still ok. Hmmmmmm. I glance at the memory stick. It says "Logitech" on it. Hmmmmmm. Bleeding idiot! (I guess yall can guess what happened).

What I can't work out is how you managed to format it & copy MP3 files onto it...

Well, I did, and judging from your words the same thing could easily have happened to you too. Think about it some more!

I read your post and immediately pictured my logitech wireless stick... Off to try mouse-parking my car.

Just as long as it doesn't start squirming around and try to bite you.
