Show customised page after login in wss3.0

Hi I have a webapplication created in wss3.0 Once i give the url in the browser, it asks for credentials and then redirects to default.aspx page(which happens by default) But before redirecting, i want to show a custom aspx page and then redirect to the sharepoint site. Any ideas on how to do this or where i can start with? Regards Naina
