yup - I have a copy of it - I am still trying to work out of on my Company site if I can get a way with pointing out - now that is sad :)

Technically speaking the dictionary would define Visual Basic users as programmers.
But here again, a very generalized, liberal definition is being employed and it's wrong

You see I sign in a shop window that says, "Give me your chocolate and no one gets hurt!" and you think to yourself, "I better tell Megan about that."

Yes, I know what you mean. I talk about people on CP as people that I know, and sometimes people say 'I don't think I've met him', and I say 'He's in the US', or 'He's in India'. Then they look at me funny. The other day I was reading my dads PM (Popular Mechanics) and one page had a big red heading which said; The Maunder Effect I instantly thought of scanning it in and posting it on CP. In fact I am getting the mag this weekend to do just that... :~

Hmmm, Ok It's just I'd always seen it written as the Maunder Minimum and never as an "effect". Although there are other effects that make use of the Maunder Minimum. BTW: If it is correct, it makes some of the global warming stuff look like nonsense. Regardz Colin J Davies
