Most programmers have several piles of SW CDs, and it's a nuisance to search through of all of them to find the one you want. What do you use to catalogue SW CDs? There are thousands of programs for music CDs and DVDs, but they're not very suitable for SW Thanks for suggestions, Jerry

you don't need software to handle this, only a good shoe box with CD/DVD cases clearly labeled and discs inside the proper cases.

        Watched code never compiles.

But that's not nearly as much fun.

I just stick 'em in a box. And downloads are in a directory.

Right on. I'm too lazy to even put half on them into sleeves anymore. Nice thing about having .iso's

Something worth reading, albeit it's invincible!

You could use this to catalog your media, then search for it: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Others/File-CD-DVD-Catalog/CatIt.shtml[^]

I really have never had a need for this, despite me wanting to write something quite often in my youth. I have one or two DVD's that contain everything I need to install, and simply sorting the files on them by name in Windows enabled me to easily find anything.

I've been using WhereIsIt[^] for years. Not free, but well worth the price.
