Does anyone know if the battle-footage taken by e.g. Apache attack helicopters is (c) the US Department of Defence? SOPA could offer a quick and easy way of killing any commercial sites that showed any clips of soldiers misbehaving, and would maybe prevent legitimate investigative journalism making use of the material? Just for the record, I have friends and family still serving in Afghanistan and cannot overstate my admiration for those who put their lives on the line protecting our freedoms. One of those freedoms however is the ability to bring those abusing power to justice. Andy B

If the government use copyrighted material, can we close them down?

Well to be fair the Illumanti is in charge of that and of course the jury is still out on what non-earth intelligence actually leads that group.

Like jschell mentioned above me. Probably not, there are still FOIA requests that must be processed and allowed. That said, the battle-footage was never meant to be released so SOPA never would have prevented that from happening.

seriously though if SOPA passes CP will have to disable the clickty features to ensure that it doesnt get shutdown, this is ofcourse after checking ALL previous post for links to copyrighted material. I see a few high profile cases where the US is extraditing people and charging them all over the world from the UK teen to Kim DotCom here in NZ.
