Still have some of those exam dreams and I left university in 1994. They are quite rare, though. I still also have dreams of when I was waiting tables, a profession I stopped doing in 1995 (when I got a job in my field of studies).

Your brain links 'exams' to other things in your life so your subconsious plays back such moments if those linkers are active in your consious. Easy example for work life is that you have an interview comming up and one of the required skills is only partially understood. Or you are going into a UAT and are not sure if you actually covered all of the requirements. A home life example is the mrs. has been 'hinting' at something she wants for her B-Day and you are still frantically messaging her friends at the midnight hour. Really one could create a million scenerios where your brain links the thoughts via emotions. The brain is quite interesting. The dreams that boggle me though are the non-traiditonal non-reacurring dreams as you usally wake up from them and think "WTF is that suppose to mean" and ponder it in and out for first couple hours of being awake until it fades into nothing. Then through out the day you will do some normal tasks and get a quick glimmer into the dream and you think "Ah HA!", and as you think that it again fades into nothing.
Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.

I'm long done with the college, and in fact I've been working for something like 8 years now. But the ghost still haunts me occasionally. :laugh:
