This[^] is deemed acceptable. A catholic priest committing adultary and being held to blackmail by a small boy. but This[^] is deemed offensive, a Jewish father taking pride in his child's business skills? I get 160 down points for that? Crock of shit. It is not the points, it is the hysterical hypocrites that complain. Is there faith so weak they cannot allow a sense of humour? Gutless wankers.

Hi DD, I see you've been downvoted by some heavy weight - as my 5+ just made a tiny difference. If it's any consolation - I've had similar experiences on a number of occasions lately. It seems we have a dyslectic member, as he appearantly is unable to put his name behind his down votes, so I just call him "spineless"

More like a tiny rat-like dog barking at you from a safe distance and quickly running away when you look at it. The sort my old cat would have eaten for breakfast.

Thanks. I do not care about a persons Colour, Ethnicity, Nationality, Sex, Gender, Sexuality, Orientation or Physical and Mental disabilities. These are things they can do little about, so should be accepted for what they are. But Religion, Politics, Fashion and Musical Taste are free for all to abuse for they are all choices.

It was just the annoyance that one can abuse the catholics but not the jews. (Personally I would abuse them all, and islamists, buddhists, pagans, shintos, hindus, sikhs, and even godless atheists like me)

Indeed it may, but the preferences change due to underlying mental, psychiatric or chemical changes within the individual, not merely as a free choice. Their behaviour may be enforced to conform to a societal norm, but this does not descry the internal condition of the individual. How many of us have wanted to do things that others would find unacceptable or perverted by the normal rules of the society in which we live, but we do not act upon them. Whilst I was surprised at what you said I didn't down vote you - I would have said so had I done so. If the joke had been a jewish joke to begin with fine, but you went ahead and tried to turn it into a rather sour stereotype as if to say the first joke got it wrong and I'm pretty sure you knew what you were doing (you proclaim great intelligence so it couldn't have been a mistake - you meant what you said). I don't think you're an anti-semite (though it's not the first time you've done this then proclaimed that some of your best friends are jewish, so to speak) but that was a tad dumb and then to moan about it when you have 19*5 votes. I may not have appreciated it but it looks like plenty of others did - I only got one 5 for my post so to be whinging now is a little ott, don't you think? The other point here is that a catholic priest commiting adultary is why the joke is funny. Finally, the father takes his son to church for the punchline. Don't get many jews in the confessional. Ever.

Dale No, please feel free to mock the Jews with appropriate jokes (yes, I know what will happen next, oy vey): perfectly happy to laugh at me and mine; just thought you were wrong to subvert a perfectly crap joke to mock a stereotype. I am also very upset by your graphic of muhamhead but only because I don't get it so it must be highly offensive. Oh wait, yes that is quite amusing but you now have 1 billion muslims who want to kill you. :-)

Ever.

Do they have confession? It seems to be a very Catholic thing to me.
