Who is this ? Never ever heard of him. According to wikipedia filmography, he did not play in any major movie ( but then again, I missed Beverly Hills Ninja, so maybe...)
Most of the films he's been in have been utter rubbish. He was a brilliant comic. He also seems like a very decent, albeit troubled (given his abuse as a child and alcoholism) human being, but recently he has shown signs of being in Hollywood too long. I've not seen him live (I'd have loved to have done this in his heyday) but according to many accounts he isn't as funny as he used to be.
Sort of a cross between Lawrence of Arabia and Dilbert.[^]

It is official, Peter Jackson's The Hobbit will be crap. Here[^] is the confirmation. Every film this man has been in has been rubbish. Mainly because he can't act. (Or, given recent behaviour, tell jokes)

I'm not sure. If he injects a few curse-laden rants it could make things a little interesting. I'd have to agree that his acting skills leave a little lot to be desired, but his stand up acts were pretty good in their day.
