Okay so I have many library projects which I use them in other projects by referencing their built assemblies. What I want, like when we have project within same solution, VS allows to add reference as project in Projects tab. But is there any way to do that same with out of solution projects. The problem is, when I toggle configuration to either Debug or Release, the assembly reference keeps it same. But if its project reference, it changes with configuration.

The only way to add a reference as a project is to bring the project into the solution.

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.
