    Where I used to work, there was this guy who received this[^] prank program (link to Symantec site, safe). This was a long time ago when the internet was still young, and people opened mail attachments with reckless abandon. It was amusing at the time anyway... (The "alert" window was harder to close than Symantec says, and there was some siren-like sound too) Maybe CP could implement something like this to ward off serial univoters. Five 1-votes within 5 minutes, and you get a pop-up alert, with an unclickable "no" button. Chris even wrote an article that illustrates the principle, it only needs to be adapted for a browser pop-up. Here[^]. -- Immediately after posting this I came across the clickable button[^]. Sad how so many people have no sense of humor (see the article rating).

      Most amusing thing is that someone asked for this to be ported to VB. I do note that the account has probably been deleted in shame...

        Stackoverflow already do it! You can't vote or comment until you have enough brownie points. You see the comment link and then as you mouse over, it changes :)
