I thought this was an internet hoax when I first saw it. Here's a link on Mattel's site (Mattel makes Barbie) http://www.mattel.com/investors/2002_tf_ny/LingerieBarbie.html[^] The other "Lingerie Barbies" (there are 5): http://www.wowdolls.com/pages/limited/fashionmodel.htm[^] How exactly did Mattel think girls were going to play with Barbie in lingerie? I mean: if you get Barbie's car, you can expect that little girls would drive Barbie around in her car. If you get Barbie's boyfriend (Ken) then little girls will probably take them on dates. If you get Barbie lingerie, then little girls are going to ...? [Edit:] Yes, they sell for $45. Yes, they sell them at toy stores (e.g. FAO Schwarz) http://www.fao.com/products/detail.cfm?objectid=EA9E9A07-602B-4E8E-9C1B829C6BAD77CE&subcategory=4075[^] ------------------------------------------ "Isn't it funny how people say they'll never grow up to be their parents, then one day they look in the mirror and they're moving aircraft carriers into the Gulf region?" - The Onion

Isn't it obvious ? All little girls get a Barbie, now they want to get boys buying them also. I thought for years my mum had something wrong with her because she seemed to have a hairy growth and two red spots that Barbie sure didn't have. Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002

Again, you can screw up a C/C++ program just as easily as a VB program. OK, maybe not as easily, but it's certainly doable. - Jamie Nordmeyer - 15-Nov-2002
