So apparently the administrator of a Microsoft Exchange Server can disallow the use of Safari or the camera on any iOS device that has a connection to that exchange server: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3582[^]. And when you connect to such an exchange server, there is no warning to the user…the Safari and Camera icons just disappear (from personal experience this morning). Are you kidding me!? And this is a security feature? Why would Apple allow such changes to the functionality on their iOS devices, especially from a Microsoft product? Don’t get me wrong, I love my iPhone, but WTF!?! Fail! X|

I infer from your tone that you are not wearing your systems administrators hat whilst you write. :-D

Yep, Android warns you that the system is trying to change your settings, you can accept and connect to the server or decline... I declined... ;)

Yeah, none of my co-workers with Android phones are having this issue...just us iPhone users. The Android users can access their work e-mail and still have full functionality of their phone. I guess I can switch to Android, or better yet, just not worry about accessing my work e-mail on my phone. To hell with being productive... ;)

if they need you to have mobile email they need to give you a phone, no?

Common sense is not a gift it's a curse. Those of us who have it have to deal with those that don't.... Be careful which toes you step on today, they might be connected to the foot that kicks your butt tomorrow. You can't scare me, I have children.

Well, the Internet is used for porn, and cameras are used to take pornographic pictures, so what did you expect? I hope you don't need e-mail, because bestsystemadministrators.com has just blogged that e-mail is used to distribute porn.

Apple believes - informing people is disturbing people.

Starting to think people post kid pics in their profiles because that was the last time they were cute - Jeremy.
