    CP newsletter is my favourite. I have been a subscriber for more than 7 years. Today, I was surprised by the iframe approach in the newsletter (you could click on the page to remove the iframe, but it is not ideal). So, I created this script as a workaround. You need to install Greasemonkey (Firefox) or Tampermonkey (Chrome) then use the script below: CodeProject Newsletter IFrame Removal on UserScripts.org[^] The script is simply the following:

    var iframeNode = document.getElementById("ctl00_MC_Frame");
    if (!iframeNode || !iframeNode.src) {
    return;
    }
    self.location = iframeNode.src;

    I would like CP to make the iframe optional and if it is there for commercial reasons, then I don't mind paying to get rid of the ads!

    Make it simple, as simple as possible, but not simpler.

    I second, triple and quadruple this sentiment. It's (apparently to me, the undereducated) a freaking horrible approach.:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::mad:

      "This item is an offsite news item. [Remove frame]"

      Why not smiply click on "[remove frame]"

      Starting to think people post kid pics in their profiles because that was the last time they were cute - Jeremy.

        This is what I do: - I open the newsletter - ctrl+click on all topics that interest me - Close my email/newsletter - Read the articles Now I need to click this link on every article. Why should I click an extra meaningless click and wait again for the new page to reload?

        Make it simple, as simple as possible, but not simpler.

          Ok I understand, it's not quite appealing to eyes as well. If the page is provided with navigation links to move to all newsletters one bye one inside the same IFrame ,it would have made more sense.

                    Fine. I thought I was the Major Grammar Captain. :) I'm on a rant to teach people in this area the difference of lend versus borrow. (I keep hearing things like "I borrowed him my leaf blower.") ARGHHHH!

                    Whatever.

                      You spelled "thief" incorrectly, AND blew the grammar thing. I'm surprise that CP didn't go into auto-shutdown mode as a result.
