I strongly recommend speaking to a small business lawyer familiar with LLC regulations in the country in which the corporation is registered.  Also a tax attorney who can advise you on your tax liability. /ravi

Thanks Ravi. That is my intention but first I want to understand a bit more what questions I need to ask...

I second the motion. No offense to anyone here, but, you need to consult with someone more qualified to advise you of the legal issues than this rabble.

I found the Nolo Press[^] very helpful when I formed my company (in 1997).  But I also obtained professional advice from the SBA (Small Business Association). /ravi

Make sure they are qualified to practice in the state in which the LLC was formed

Hi, I have a product that we are about to start selling. My partner is a US resident, but I am not and I don't live in the US either. The question is: - Once the LLC is in place, what do I need to do to confirm that all is in working order? Also, anyone know what happens if you are a non resident and partner in an LLC?

If I remember the law correctly, you are supposed to turn all of the profits over to me. I will keep them in a special bank account until a nice gentleman from Nigeria will help transfer them to you.

Give me your routing number, SSN, pin number and I will proceed.
