When does it end?

The project was delayed a month because the user didn't understand that when we sat down and agreed on requirements that meant the app would be built to match those requirements. Nor did they understand all of the prototypes and review sessions were meant to refine the application that would be delivered. Neither did they understand the whole concept of testing and working with the application when it was made available in staging and during QA. Now, when released to production they have delayed the final rollout twice now because of issues that were discovered and deemed unacceptable. The frustrating part is some of the new issues are to reverse fixes to issues they had to have in the first round. X|
Failure is not an option; it's the default selection.

In the back of our minds, we knew all along that there was something to be said for "going postal". P.S.: That answers your subject line question, too.

I hope you've kept 'the negatives'. I'd go back to the sponsor and firstly inform them why the project is delayed and secondly ask which changes where correct. I have seen the flip-flop bugs where you give one user what they want and another complains. The functions needs to be specified, with behaviour nailed down, and then you deliver to the spec. If a bug report contradicts the spec then it is not a bug but an enhancement and cannot be addressed until after role out.
