Platinum Members
-
Hi there, So I was recently in discussion with a friend about CodeProject, and, since I recently achieved Platinum level (:D), my friend posed the question, how many Platinum members are there? I could give no answer and so here I am. Does anybody know the answer, or is this one of those well-kept secrets? Thanks, Ed

42. :-D As mentioned, it used to be easier to determine. I used to be platinum, now I'm only mostly platinum. :sigh:

Platinum at what? Aren't there about half a dozen, and only a very few have achieved platinum in all.
Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.
In Author :) And I'm sure there are far more than half a dozen; I've seen more than that myself. I agree, however, that very few have reached Platinum in all. Though I sometimes wonder if really good people ever would since they would have no need to post questions and thus struggle to gain points in the "Enquirer" section.

And all the rest aren't looking so we can't see them ;) And awww...yes I guess I should have said "Partly Platinum" myself... Anyways, Thanks. I think I'll just take it that it's not that common to be platinum in anything but sufficiently common as to be hard to count without access to data... Hmm...I might now switch to the "Suggestions" forum - some stats on CP might be nice to have :)

Only one full Platinum Chris Maunder[^] but then he makes the rules so he could be any metal he chooses.
Failure is not an option; it's the default selection.

Chris is the only 'full-platinum' so far. There are more than one hundred 'partial-platinum' ones, I suppose (CP Vanity lists 98 of them).
Veni, vidi, vici.
That's helpful, thanks :)

The plating wearing off again?

Bad news... Platinum is a shade of blonde, not grey. ;)
Will Rogers never met me.
