Food : Taste vs Choice
-
My gym trainer has put me on a diet since last few weeks. Instead of going through the diet list, I have made an easy to remember rule : "If it doesnt taste good it is probably good for the body." :mad:
You only just noticed this? Healthy == terrible. It will taste like cardboard, water, or worst of all, vegetable. You'd think an anti-underweight diet would be a nice thing, but there are vegetables in that one, too. Just when you thought you were finally grown up and you could finally skip the vegetables, your body decides to hold you hostage and threatens to kill you if you actually dare skip them.

I think you made a HTML error there. Did you mean to type "Blown away"?
public class SysAdmin : Employee
{public override void DoWork(IWorkItem workItem) { if (workItem.User.Type == UserType.NoLearn){ throw new NoIWillNotFixYourComputerException(new Luser(workItem.User)); }else{ base.DoWork(workItem); } }
}

I disagree. I love fish for example. Ever tried sea bass with salsa verde? Its really nice. Good home made curries are OK too. Dont use any sugar (and that means no chutneys either) and serve with brown rice. Parmagiana di melanzani is really good too. If you avoid refined carbs, sugars and excessive amounts of hard animal fat (olive oil is OK) its a perfectly good diet. (Perversely cheese isnt so bad because the amount of calcium in it blocks the absorbtion of a lot of the fat)
============================== Nothing to say.

I'm married. Once they've tasted wedding cake, that stops.

totally false approach. You will not do this for long term if it does not satisfy you. Fact is - diet is all about the balance of input and output. So you need to control the calories your body gets and burns. Therefor it's not about whether you eat fries or salad - it's about the calories that comes with it. Check out the Weight Watchers system - Their system is much better than any other "diet". You can also get books/diary software/tables from them without taking part.

I agree. A diet is short term, and you get your weight back when you stop. A real solution is something that you can maintain, it's a change in lifestyle not a temporary food alteration.

I agree with this to a point. On the other end, if you eat junk you'll run out of calories and still be hungry. This is where the balance part comes in.

Excellent idea. Many people have success with this.
