      Whats wrong with VB? I have used it a fair bit with Jet DBOs to make some useful products. It is simple, quick, and generally stable.

      ============================== Nothing to say.

        I really need to post the 30 thousand lines dll that i'm converting from VB to C#, then you'll see what's wrong with VB...

        I'm brazilian and english (well, human languages in general) aren't my best skill, so, sorry by my english. (if you want we can speak in C# or VB.Net =p)

          But that will turn into 40 thousand lines of C#. Not much better.

          There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

            5 thousand only. much of the code was to cover VB flaws, only 10% is actually business logic.

              Why convert it if it works? (And if it doesnt work why convert it?)

              ============================== Nothing to say.

                who said it works? 2 minutes to a method to return is too much, and this is used in a web app. this method is called every elephanting time the page is posted.
