Version 3.5 of the popular O/R mapping designer for .NET, LLBLGen Pro has been released.

The V3.5 Designer brings an EDMX Importer, rule based .NET Attribute definitions, a revamped Project Settings dialog, Quick Start Guides, System Type Converters, a Bulk Element Setting Manipulator and much more.

The LLBLGen Pro Runtime Framework comes with a new query specification and execution API: QuerySpec, WCF Data Services (OData) support, SQL Server 2012 support, System Type converters, Dependency Injection Tracing and many other changes and fixes.

Support for Entity Framework and NHibernate has been extended and improved as well.

With LLBLGen Pro 3, a huge step forward was made in the O/R mapping world. Developers now can work with any of four target frameworks (Entity Framework, NHibernate, LLBLGen Pro and Linq to SQL) while taking advantage of all the LLBLGen Pro Designer features. Another big advantage has been the possibility of both Model first and Database first development, or a mixture of the two.

To celebrate this release, customers get 30% discount on their licenses when they purchase them before April 19 2012.
