Hey Guys, Any chance anyone reading could spare 30 seconds to vote for North London Wildcats to get a chance to perform at the Olympics in London I would be very grateful. http://style.uk.msn.com/beyond-the-games/vote-for-the-team-gb-cheerleading-squad[^] Would be amazing if to be part of the action. Thanks.

Given that the Beach Volleyball teams are going to have to wear pack-a-macs and arctic survival clothing just to play, I don't care who the cheerleaders are going to be - they will all look like Mr Blobby anyway!

That's not the way I understood the new rule. It said that they are no longer required to wear bikinis, but it doesn't forbid them from wearing them.

Think you are confusing pole dancing with strip dancing. The the serious pole dancers do not generally get close to the audience. Most strippers are so-so pole dancers. Pole dancers can probably all kick my butt they are so damn strong.

I was joking you know. Here in Spain we don't have the cheerleader tradition so we only see them in films or in special events (sometimes in basketball matches). But never as in the USA (my information comes only from films). So as my informarion comes only from films, and typically cheerleaders are "sold" as really nice looking girls that are very popular at their institutes / universities, and again typically far away from geeks. With all this feedback, this is why I answered that (in a joke mood) as it is quite typical to see a geeky site full of geeks (and almost no girls, cheerleaders or not). So no offense intended. And of course, you cheerleader or not are welcome here...
