Hi I have let my subconscious work on this over the weekend & it has come up with a blank, as have all my google searches (well, I had loads of results, but none of them were useful). Years ago I found a puzzle site, levels were graded & there were categories like disassembly (in the coding sense), steganography, mathematics. The name was something like celestial/electrical/cerebrum or some combination of these & similar words. I'm also pretty certain I saw it referred to on here - so does anyone know the site? Or if you can google it, what google-fu you use would be interesting to see. I'd like to get back to them (& I guess others here would too). Regards & TIA, Stewart

I dunno if this is your site. It matches several but not all of your critera. http://www.rankk.org/[^] Found on Altavista. Not sure it shows up on the google-radar. http://www.caesum.com/game/ http://www.puzzlers.org/dokuwiki/doku.php[^] And the geocaching people have a lot of resources for puzzles since they use those a lot in their hobby.

Many, many thanks - it was the Electrica Puzzle challenge hanging off the www.caesum.com[^] site. I bow to your searching skills. Shame it's so far down the Lounge now that few will see it - and with this back, I could be spending less time here myself. Regards, Stewart

Lots of stuff falls by the wayside in this forum. I guess its a kind of ephemera. I enjoyed doing it. It was just vague enough to grab my interest but not so vague that it couldn't be done.
