Arduino have just release the Due[^] which is a big step up in power - 32-bit 84MHz ARM - with more I/O than you can shake a stick at. :-D

I wonder why the called it the Due rather than the Duo?

One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.

Because Uno means one and Due means two[^] perhaps?

I think it is because Due is two in Italian :~ Duo is at least one of the forms of two in Latin, as might Due be, I didn't really ever study it. Or Italian for that matter, I just remember there being a difference when learning some basic vocab for a holiday.

Sort of a cross between Lawrence of Arabia and Dilbert.[^]

Because they are from Italia... and Due is italian for two. And a lot of their boards are named with italian-inspired names (remember the due, duemillanove or the Leonardo). So it makes sense to call the board Due instead of Duo.

A frenchman runs trough the street yelling "Menustration". Another guy speaks to him "Don't you mean 'Revolution'?". He replies: "I don't really care I just want to see blood.".
