Are you just wanting to publish the code? If so, you can store your code here, or you could store it on DropBox, or in a source repository such as github or CodePlex.

Is there a way of making Dropbox items available to anybody or is it designed just to be available to selected friends?

Hi Pete, no, I can easily store it here, or on box.com or dropbox. What I would like to do is to run my examples and make them available for others to try and test. Any idea? Based on this, I do not need SQL or lot's or space or bandwidth, just a simple IIS app in which I can run my stuff. Thanks

I don't have experience with free hosting, but I do know how to Google - this[^] offers free ASP.NET hosting.

Well I also Googled and checked almost all the links on first 5 pages of results, still didn't found nothing convincing, so I hoped that someone who had experience could suggest me a proper cheep solution. Cheers

Dear all, I'm searching for free or cheep web hosting on which I can publish my article examples, so one can try the result and see it before maybe even read the article itself. I was using somee.com services till now, but it seems that they have often problems associated to free accounts. Do you have any suggestion? Thanks Cheep = 30$/year

I tried the free solutions when I first started with online .NET and was generally unimpressed - you don't seem to get what they say you will in terms of availability, tech support, or anything else particularly. In particular, most of teh free hosts prioritize paying customers, so availablity can be next to useless at peak times. Now I use Arvixe.com[^] - starting at $4 per month, it is outside your price bracket, but I have found that you get what you pay for - if you pay for a really cheap service, then what you generally get is a really cheap service - when you have problems it can end up costing you a lot more than if you had paid more to start with! (Also check that tech support is available by email, some of the cheaper ones get the money back with premium rate help lines)

If you do not need database, try Windows Azure[^] they offer 10 free websites. Host Gator[^] and Win Host[^] are also usually cheaper option over other hosting provider.

Thanks but all my apps are base on .NET.
