On January 1st, we will begin the year 2013. Do you know what it has in common with 1987?

Chris Meech I am Canadian. [heard in a local bar] In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is. [Yogi Berra] posting about Crystal Reports here is like discussing gay marriage on a catholic church’s website.[Nishant Sivakumar]

    Distinct numbers?

"One man's wage rise is another man's price increase." - Harold Wilson

"Fireproof doesn't mean the fire will never come. It means when the fire comes that you will be able to withstand it." - Michael Simmons

"Show me a community that obeys the Ten Commandments and I'll show you a less crowded prison system." - Anonymous

I realised at the weekend that I was born closer to the end of World War2 than to today. That is so scary, especially as growing up WW2 seemed such an age away.

I never even thought about that, but realized after reading your post that I'm in the same boat. My children made sure to remind me how old I was all day on Sunday when I became the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

      I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

I have been with my wife over half her life. She has lived with me more than she lived with her family. Finally, I own her. (Yeah right, truth is, She owns me, and I am happy to be hers).

That's been true for me since I was 11. Now, stop talking and finish your cereal, youngster... How's this one - all of the ships I was ever on in the Navy have long-since been decommissioned - even the one on which I was a plank owner (I was a member of the original crew when it was commissioned).

I've been able to say that for all of my life bar one day!

One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.

I was born closer to Sunderland than Newcastle, and my Dad was born IN Sunderland.

Wow. On this site you have mental images/ideas of what posters are like. I have always assumed you to be roughly in your 20's

Exactly. All four digits for the year are unique. This has not happened since 1987. :)
