when you guys create a website with all the new HTML5 semantics, do you care about accessibility and ARIA ? I have been doing a lot of research lately on this topic and HTML5 has some very neat features and ARIA is now part of HTML5 standard specification. I also wrote an article at MSDN on accessibility, would love to hear your comments. Designing Accessible website with HTML5[^]

Raj, you and I have batted this back and forth before. As we have covered, accessibility is a legal requirement in several countries so anything that pushes this forward has to be good. I will get to your article when I have a free moment.

yes, I would look forward to your comment. I do am a bit surprised on lack of web developer's interest in this topic. :)

I think accessibility becomes important as a website grows but at the same time I do not think one should go out of the way worrying about accessibility. The time when I realized about accessibility and its importance was when I talked to a blind person and experienced being blind in a show called - "Dialog in the dark". A real accessible website can make a huge difference in the life of few people.
