I'm the opposite, I am more and more becoming dismayed with Android, in particular, 2.3. I cannot stand my phone. I detest it. Texting is a pain, typing something is a pain, going on the internet is a pain. Takes about 3 seconds with the different SMS program I use. Browsing takes an age whether it is on WiFi or "3G" (which barely seems faster then 2G anyway). I used an iPhone a few times recently and I am very impressed with it. It works smoothly, page scrolling dosent make me want to throw it at a wall, texting just works. I shouldnt need to have to install a ton of alternatives to the stock programs, if I've paid a load of money for it then I want it to be usable and reliable, with the option of installing something new if I like.

Ouch! :doh: My opinion of Apple product quality has not improved...again. You poor bugger - this is why I spend so much time making all my devices talk to a central repository, which gets backed up each day.

I must be using up all of my luck. Updated both iPhone and iPod last night and nothing at all went wrong. Didn't lose anything.

I did that to my wife's iPhone this afternoon. I neither know nor care if it caused any problems. It wasn't working properly beforehand either, I've not noticed any difference in the levels of complaining.
