Is anyone out here using CSLA[^] for projects? I did a search in articles for CSLA, and not much came up. Perhaps this would be a good choice for a series of articles for me to write?

Rocky has written a lot about them, and there's some info out as ebooks[^]. It would be interesting to see some articles on it though.

Yep, I have his BO book, ebooks and have seen quite a bit on forums, Q&A on SO, etc. My company uses CSLA for just about everything, and it took me forever to get the hang of it. Yeah, I think I might try to do a series on building a rather simple app from the ground up; at the very least, it sounds like something to keep me out of the bar on weekends. Wait, now that sounds like a horrible idea! :-D

For some reason my company's firewall is blocking the CSLA site as 'potentially damaging'. Since I'm not familiar with the acronym and can't get to the site - what does CSLA stand for?

Odd... I know Rocky recently migrated to that new URL, so maybe that's related. It stands for Component-based, Scalable Logical Architecture; it's basically a business object framework that helps with a bunch of stuff, like object state plumbing code, and greatly eases switching to an n-tier physical model for distributed applications. You can find more info here[^] (assuming this URL isn't also blocked).

I wrote a "reasonable" MRP system using CSLA - gotta say that once I understood the framework, I liked it for a LOB situation. I did buy a couple of books by Rocky which really helped.
