Well, off on Friday to get tattooed... again :-) This time, an all day sitting starting a Watchmen rib piece, however this is likely to be far less painful that spending one more day dealing with our testers this week. The single largest set of changes to a piss-poor third party developed system we've dropped into test and apparently them having to raise 18 error log items in 7 days is an issue. Mind you, when I say 18 error log items what I actually mean is 9 error log items as 50% of those raised are not in fact errors, (and cannot under any circumstances be replicated), or are errors that were failed to be identified by those same testers prior to the initial production deployment and which they now begrudge having to raise via the support desk as it makes them look a bit daft.... ...and don't even get me started on the 'why do we have to document changes to our requirements now we've put them into UAT' questions, I'm just glad I'm in a different build or they may have been bloodshed... ...and relax...
