    patent invalidation is reaffirmed by USPTO [^] - now my Android phone can "spring back to life" :-D But then again, I'm sure there will be an appeal...only the lawyers really win :sigh:

      Is this the suit where they wanted to trademark 'Mini'?

        Nope, somethin' else;

        which covers the "bounce-back" that users get when they scroll to the bottom. The patent also includes a host of touch-screen actions, including dragging documents.

        Bastard Programmer from Hell :suss: If you can't read my code, try converting it here[^]

          That might be the stupidest patent application I've heard.

              The only reason such cases go forward is because scum-level lawyers can make money out of them. Anyone with any connection to the words "justice" and "rightness" would reject the cases out of hand.
