Nice. One of my all time favourite Purple tracks. I'm looking forward to next week when their new album is out.
I was brought up to respect my elders. I don't respect many people nowadays.

I'm a huge Steve Morse fan. Take a listen to tracks such as "Sometimes I feel like screaming" or "Loosen my strings" to hear some incredible musicianship.

Shame they didn't last longer, they were good but faded quickly? A lot of groups from that era had a couple of hits then faded?

I agree, some should have taken that advice but kept, and are still going pumping out the same stuff. Tony Orlando and Dawn K.C. and the same song band Donna Summers ... do I need to go on?

While their big selling live record was Made in Japan, Made in Europe was one of my favorites. It featured Glen Hughes / David Coverdale as replacements for Glover / Gillian. The version of Burn still makes me want to jump up and down.

I've likeed Coverdale in Purple, Whitesnake and Coverdale / Page but he's not Ian Gillian and I don't even try to compare them. Different critters. Saw Hughes with Trapeze at a festival in the 70s. Awesome. And the guy screams like a 13 year old girl. :-D
