I want my RDP to just work...

    so... I only recently noticed MS doesn't allow Win7 Home Premium to set up an RDP server (only "Professional" and "Ultimate" allow it), so you have to do some hacks or use a third party tool. That seems rather cruddy of them... :mad: I guess I never noticed because I have the "Professional" version at work and don't usually use RDP at home, but recently I've been trying to do more work at home and it would be nice to RDP from my laptop to my desktop (which I usually keep on different house floors).

          try LogmeIn[^] or Team Viewer[^] They are free for personal use, I've tried both and prefer Teamviewer it has been resolution control.
