Obviously, I'd be up for it, but given the responses is doesn't look likely, at least not in the area.

Indeed. There may be some things I can do here, but the first part is that there's definitely going to be one in our area. That's a given. I may organise another one as well (CP approached me as one of their official organisers after all, so I get to pick where we go :)).

I have been asked to arrange the meeting up to celebrate the 10 million members at the end of June. It will be in Newcastle or Durham depending on the preferences of attendees. It shall be a refined evening of debauchery, as befitting our happy community. Sign up below to indicate your willingness to attend, and location preference. Nope. Not if a none-poncy Northerner's organising it. And why would London be more appropriate than, say, Birmingham - which is geographically a lot more central?
