            I think you forgot really important part of the algorithm. One word Booze. If he is drunk enough it doesn't matter how hideous she is. If he still finds her hideous he isn't drunk enough :-D

              Interestingly, only men have beer goggles - i.e. perceive ladies more attractive under alcohol. Women tend to just lower their standards.

                So Match.com is using SAP. That means it will work very well in Germany and that everyone else will need timely and expensive adjustments and there will still be glitches. Coincidentally I'm married to a German girl, which means it's only me that needs to adjust.
