    Just switched on my computer and saw my start button is gone, poof, gone :omg: ?? Oh! where are you start?? Where are you?? It's gone... can't find it:confused::confused: Believe it or not... it's true... My start button is gone... Want a screenshot?? Here it is Click[^] This is win7 not win8??? Any ideas what it might be?? Plz, I don't wanna part with my start button :rolleyes: Or this is a new update from Microsoft mickeysoft?? :wtf: UPDATE: What the hell, just rebooted and startbutton is back, but clicking it doesn't work... hey?? Viruses?? X| Not got one... then what?

    I've got it. It's right here. Safe, for now. Small, unmarked bills, or I change the label to "tart", and send you the "S" in a brown envelope.

      1. Are you sure it's not a virus? I don't have the problem and I believe that updates just downloaded a few days back. 2. Is your Windows copy legal?

        Of course, of course... OH.. wait. I got the solution, there was an exception occuring in explorer during startup, which prevented the initialization of the start menu,

                  :(( No no please no... :( I'm setting up a secure transfer socket so that you can send it to me... I need it man... Meanwhile setting up a SSL tunnel with AES-256 bit encryption, ready for diffie-hellman key exchange? ;P

                        Yes, I know. :( Never hurts to do some preliminary searching to avoid long-term software lock-in which has always been the downside to choosing Microsoft solutions.
