I agree. Oscar Meyer is an American bacon company perpetuating a myth. They are selling thin cuts strips of fat with a hint of meat and a heavy coating of salt. This is not real bacon! This is real bacon: British Bacon[^] Don't accept Oscar Meyer's poor substitute for the real thing.
