        To be precise in Lugano \ TI. That's where most of german switzerland goes on hollidays...

              I know also from Spain (where I went last year, first couple I saw in Seville (very hot there, 45°C) was from Zürich, the second from... Sankt Gallen). I know that swiss like german (I am german) like to travel around. My longest trip was to Australia...

                  It's very nice. It has the Italian sharm with the Swiss clean and precision. Avoid to use the cars in peek times, can get very annoying staying in traffic with 35°C, otherwise we have everything (lakes, planes, mountains, highest mountain drivable pass (the Novena o Nufenen at 2478 meters), even skying. The only we don't have is the sea. but Genova is 3 hours 30 minutes away...
