In the few times I have visited the Soapbox forum, I've noticed that it's been written out at the top to prevent posts on Global Warming, US politics etc. but every few pages, there seem to be topics consistently written on them. I'm curious as to whether people do it on purpose either because they don't care about it or because they have a feeling of immunity that they will not be warned or banned? Perhaps the hamsters already have a hit list? :D

When did chris make a curious forum? :-D

Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors. :)

The soapbox is specifically not for "endless debate about climate change, religion and US politics. " as a while ago it became a little bit of a troll-fest ! So as long as it's not abused or abusive, i.e. it is reasoned debate, I think it's all fine.

The soapbox is generally treated as the suppository of jokes and anything that is not kid sister safe. Only recently have a couple of ENDLESS global warming threads crept in. As stated it was a troll fest with endless, non conclusive rants and discussions on the 3 frowned upon subjects.

Wat The 3 subjects were US politics, GW and religion not people. There were/are lots of trolls lurking in the SB

Oh no I knew precisely what I meant, exactly where some of those jokes belong.
