Windows 7 x64 SP1 -- VS 2012 "compatibility issues"? http://i39.tinypic.com/a1lrnc.jpg[^] Weird.
Greetings - Jacek
Sent by our tech support guy about two weeks ago, so it's a known problem:

Recently we had a spate of machines having issues with Visual Studio and/or SQL Server 2012 and possibly other strange software errors caused by these 2 software suites. I do now have a fix for this that I’ll be deploying in the evenings this week to your machines to prevent it occurring again (Microsofts words not mine!). Please make sure you log off your machines at night when you leave for the day to help me complete this work.
It's well known that if all the cat videos and porn disappeared from the internet there would be only one site left and it would be called whereareallthecatvideosandporn.com

What's the problem? Just (pay to) upgrade to the next version of Windows. Business as usual.

FTFY Actually, I had installed Weight... and then reverted back to Win7. A slightly improved performance isn't good enough reason to fight with a terrible GUI every day. By terrible I mean "not taking advantage of a mouse-controlled pointer's precision" (eg. context menus displaying on the bottom of a screen instead of next to the current cursor position, and many other little painful issues).
