Okaaay. Actually, there's no pun there.

    Google wrote:

Pun: A joke exploiting the different possible meanings of a word or the fact that there are words that sound alike but have different meanings

Protip: The confused icon, followed by "what?" just looks like you don't get it. ;P The miss-use of the word pun doesn't exactly help, either.

Okkkk... A thing to note, I've spend 4 years (8th to 12th grade) reading and examining English literature (unwillingly, as it was part of compulsory subjects). There were something around 30+ literary devices, there is something exactly defining this but... I only remember the words : "similes, metaphor, alliteration, irony, and pun"

Nice. You beat me there - I only studied english lit for a year in 10th grade. I could more-or-less guarantee your english is better than my indian or german. Though, 35 years of speaking it can only help, I suppose. Anyhow, hope I didn't ruin the joke for you - I only wanted to let you in too.

I was enrolled in an English medium school. So literature was there since beginning but systematic studies and analysis started only at 8th.

There is no language called Indian... ;P There are hundreds of Indian languages (28 recognized by constitution, including English). So which one?

Nope,... cheers! (though I don't consume any kind of hydrocarbon hydroxide)

Er, all of them 'cept english. I did wonder if that was going to bite me on the ass (yet still I was too lazy to research for 15seconds. :-O ) Great! Yeah, not a drinker myself. It just seemed like a better conciliatory icon than :jig: or :java: or :rose: Damn! 28 official languages... We've only got one here, yet still we all seem to abuse it - poorly. I'm off - any more of this conversation and the suggestions that we "get a room" will likely abound.
