On my car satnav it says 'you have reached your destination' so I am wondering how that fits into the grand scheme of things.

My satnav once told me that and I was in the middle of a field in Cambridgeshire. I'd started to suspect it may be on a wind up when the lane I was driving down turned into a dirt track and passed through a hedge. To be fair to it I could see my destination from where it had taken me, but that is only because the land is so damn flat around there.
