It's a lot like Cymatics[^] It's an incredibly interesting subject, someone I know did a project on it for a final project during their degree. I helped build the amplifiers for speakers that were used to vibrate cornstarch into really weird moving patterns. And the video. Also from the top. Morons. Unless everything is levitating a grand total of .5 mm above the surface, in which case hiding that might be best since the wow-factor would be greatly lessened.
